Yes, don’t hesitate to apply again. We receive a high number of applications for each vacancy, not having been selected for one job does not affect your eligibility to be considered for another position. Every candidate is assessed based on their merits and suitability for the role applied for, and the status of your previous application will not affect the selection process.

The recruitment process does vary, but we always aim to update you as soon as possible, usually this takes around 6 to 8 weeks.

Your application should be targeted at a specific open position at South Pole and we expect you to meet the requirements of the position. We would like your CV and cover letter to explain the following:
- Your interest in the open position and South Pole
- How your skills, knowledge and experience are relevant for the position you are applying for and how you can contribute to the success of South Pole
- A detailed overview of your career and your professional competences: your results and achievements, activities you've carried out and your areas of responsibility

The recruitment process varies from position to position, and department. Normally this includes an initial telephone interview with a member of the recruitment team, followed by two interviews with competency based questions around previous experience and technical knowledge. If the role you’ve applied for requires specific technical skills, then it’s likely we’ll ask you to complete a technical test or a short practical task.
