Job summary:

South Pole is a leading provider for climate change and sustainability advisory services. Driven by the lively public debate on climate change and the increasing awareness for companies to take voluntary climate actions, we are at the beginning of substantial business growth. We have recently launched Salesforce to accelerate our sales operations and become a data-driven company. That is why we are looking to hire a Junior Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team in the Salesforce Center of Excellence. With a growing user base across the whole Salesforce ecosystem we need you to drive efficient user support operations providing quick and effective assistance in the users day-to-day. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will also be highly involved in the continuous development of the system alongside the Principal Salesforce Administrator from day one. The Salesforce capability is essential to support our growth ambitions, ensuring customers remain central to all of our activities and decision-making. This is an exciting role combining business and technical excellence with stakeholder engagement across South Pole. Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Become main point of contact for helpdesk and user support inquiries teams to improve usability and adoption of Salesforce across South Pole
  • Recognise the need to engage and educate users to maximise adoption and value from Salesforce 
  • Work across South Pole business lines to understand requirements for the Salesforce system 
  • Support the Principal Salesforce Administrator in designing and delivering system changes
  • Define and schedule changes to meet evolving requirements and ensures change is effectively rolled out
  • Analyse vendor release notes looking for opportunities in new releases and guide the Salesforce strategy to take full advantage of the platforms (CRM, Marketing Automation and CPQ) 
  • Management of system documentation and user training and maintenance of backlogs
  • Continually challenge the business to make better use of the Salesforce platform, working closely with the marketing team and regional sales teams to deliver business improvement and increased efficiency 

Requirements:

  • Passionate about helping others with the daily struggles in using Salesforce and making them become happy users
  • Ability to engage business experts and define clear requirements to inform configuration roadmap 
  • Ability to understand and influence technical and business stakeholders at differing levels in the organisation
  • Ability to configure Salesforce changes 
  • Prior working experience with Salesforce is a must and relevant certifications are an advantage
  • Expert knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its wider ecosystem 
  • Effective management of Salesforce deployments in a global (diverse) corporate environment
