South Pole is a global market leader in the fight against climate change and experiencing rapid growth having doubled in headcount and revenues in the past 18 months. As we continue to grow at pace throughout 2022, we are looking for talented professionals to join our Recruitment team.
Job summary:
The purpose of this role is to manage the complete recruitment life-cycle for a broad range of critical positions. Through targeted headhunting and proactive talent pool management, you will play a vital role in increasing our talent sourcing capabilities and helping our dynamic and purpose-driven organisation to take the next big step in our growth journey. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Head of Recruitment and the wider regional HR function, key hiring decision makers and internal stakeholders.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Drive the end to end recruitment life cycle to ensure timely delivery on vacancies according to South Pole’s high quality and ethical standards
- Formulate and execute sourcing strategies for global vacancies
- Build talent pools of experienced candidates across all offices and potential new locations
- Proactive Sourcing and networking of sustainability and climate change talent
- Business partnering on recruitment solutions with internal stakeholders
- Maintain and update our Applicant Tracking System
- Maintain and enhance our company profile on social media
- Recruitment operations - posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, technical tests, etc
- Support the Head of Recruitment with global projects that will enhance our global recruitment capabilities
- Act as a company ambassador, attracting the best possible talent for our organisation
- Supporting the global HR team on other talent-related projects and initiatives
Requirements:
Essential -
- University degree in HR, Business Administration, sustainability, or equivalent
- Relevant experience in an 'in house' recruitment function, RPO or agency
- Proactive sourcing expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Excellent communication skills as well as a strong attention to detail
- A ‘people person’ with the ability to build relationships with ease
- Curious, inquisitive and comfortable with changing circumstances
- Strong time management and organisational planning
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, global team as well as independently
- Eagerness to grow and learn in a young, dynamic and fast evolving team
Desirable -
- Experience of the sustainability and/or environmental sectors
- Experience of working in a fast paced high growth environment
- Passion for environmental issues and understanding of sustainability, CSR and related topics
