Job summary:

As the Senior Marketing Specialist for APAC, you will assist in shaping and creating our marketing strategy and coordinate with your colleagues across the globe to drive business success, market transformation and inspire a generation of climate leaders. You will be responsible for delivering leads for the APAC (Australia and Asia-Pacific) region and managing South Pole partnerships regionally whilst developing a strong working relationship with relevant national media outlets. You will also work with clients to maximise the value of success stories for both client and South Pole. This is an exciting role which would suit an accomplished marketer with good campaign experience, digital foundations and a confident client-facing manner


 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a regional marketing plan in collaboration with the Regional Director and the local Key Account Managers and Business Developers. 
  • Deliver [6-8] integrated campaigns annually around key topics with an associated prospect journey targeted at local prospect organisations. 
  • Support the development of a structured lead generation process locally based on global guidance 
  • Work with Communications to ensure the South Pole brand is managed correctly and that global partnerships are managed at the regional and national level.
  • Work with targeted national media outlets and other partnerships to position South Pole as the go-to partner for corporate climate solutions
  • Work with clients to bring their success stories to life both for South Pole and for the client organisation. 
  • Work with Communications to achieve consistency and support the wider South Pole ambitions for client testimonials. 
  • Be a CRM super-user to champion a digital sales and marketing process in the region. 
  • Coordinate activity across the wider Regional Marketing Team to share best practice, learn from other markets and increase return on content development.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Degree in marketing (or other relevant subject)
  • Experience (approx 5-7 years expected) of working in a B2B marketing department, managing to a plan and with strong sales and client interactions. 
  • Knowledge of environmental and sustainability topics and experience of building campaigns around these topics 
  • Demonstrable competence of digital marketing techniques or marketing automation systems 
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment 
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Valid work authorisation

Desirable:

  • Experience of working on strategic solutions for and with clients a real plus 
  • Ability to create content / support the delivery of thought-leadership within the Regional Team would be helpful 
  • Ability to think strategically to share how local campaigns can translate into wider South Pole benefit.
