Job summary:

At South Pole, we are in the middle of delivering an ambitious Digital Transformation
Programme and we are looking for a business analyst to help us with the design and
delivery of a range of complex and exciting projects under this programme. The role of
Senior Business Analyst is instrumental in translating the pain points and business
requirements into actionable work streams. You will work closely with a team of business analysts with the project managers, business stakeholders, system product owners, and operations specialists acting as a liaison between business and IT/data. 

If you have experience in delivering change and transformation projects in high-growth
business environments with great communication skills and strong attention to detail,
this role could be perfect for you. 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

• Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of teams and
  business lines
• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and
  solutions for the business problem
• Record and map business requirements and verify them with stakeholders
• Use data to support your findings
• Work with product owners and project managers to communicate the benefits
  of your recommendations across the stakeholder groups and help to address
  any uncertainty and concern
• Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings
  and to present to stakeholders when necessary 

Requirements:

Essential 

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Several years of relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range
  of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
• Ability to understand and influence technical and business stakeholders at
  differing levels in the organisation
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
• Experience in process engineering and workflow mapping
• A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
• The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project
  timeframes
• Project management skillset
• Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach a strong
  interest in business and business development
• A good understanding of information technology

Desirable  

• Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP
• Knowledge of voluntary carbon markets, and carbon project development
• Experience in working in strategic transformation projects along the entire project
  lifecycles
