Our Milan office covers key areas such as Commercial, Business Development, Advisory, Marketing and Communication. To strengthen our Commercial department we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a competent and motivated team. Job summary
The candidate will join the Commercial team and will play a key role in the development of Carbonsink in the Italian Fashion and Luxury markets with increasing autonomy and responsibility, The Business Development Manager will build long-term relationships with some of Italy's leading companies to accompany them on their climate strategy journey. He/she will contribute to the definition of Carbonsink's go-to-market strategy and provide indications for the development of innovative and high-impact solutions to the climate change challenge.
The candidate we are looking for is used to managing business development projects in the Fashion and Luxury markets, of which he has a deep knowledge in terms of protagonists, dynamics and sensitivity: applications with a background in marketing and/ or communication will also be considered.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Creating new business opportunities with companies of italian fashion and luxury markets, committed to the challenge of climate change
- Preparation and negotiation of commercial proposals concerning consulting services and carbon credits
- Independently managing relationships with clients and target companies
- Supporting Sales Management in defining the go-to-market strategy
- Collaboration to marketing campaigns together with the dedicated team
Requirements
- Degree in economics, engineering, marketing.
- Specialisation in Green Management and Sustainability (nice to have).
- Deep knowledge of Italian Fashion and Luxury markets in terms of protagonists, dynamics and sensitivity.
- Understanding of climate change dynamics (international agreements, decarbonisation targets, carbon neutrality).
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good writing and document creation skills.
- A strong motivation towards climate change issues is required, with a clear predisposition to develop a specialised training on climate change.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian/English, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel in Italy and internationally.
