The purpose of this role is to assist and support the Head of Talent, Learning and Development, and the wider business, on a broad range of Talent, Learning and Development initiatives. You will be responsible for all the administrative coordination of L&D initiatives in areas such as training, performance management, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, career development, etc. In addition, you will participate in creating, enhancing and implementing Talent, Learning and Development programs and solutions, in close collaboration with many internal and external stakeholders.

This role will offer you the opportunity to build your experience and career and to progress over time. The post holder is expected to be a self-starter, being able to work as a team as well as autonomously. The role is extremely varied and the ability to take initiative and work with ambiguity is essential.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Support the re-design and rollout of the South Pole Onboarding programme
  • Manage the logistics for all training and L&D sessions, managing the providers, updating participant lists, booking rooms or online sessions, sending out pre-work, monitoring attendance etc.

  • Support the training needs analysis
  • Manage the Learning Management System
  • Manage relationships with External Suppliers
  • Work closely and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers respectively.

  • Support a range of Talent, L&D & HR projects.
  • Provide generalist administrative support to the Talent, L&D and, at times, the wider HR team.

You have a can-do attitude and a strong focus on possibilities instead of limitations. Flexibility is key. You embrace the opportunities that come with working in a growing organisation: Help build structures and processes that are currently not in place, and navigate the constantly changing priorities. You are passionate about making a difference and you have the willingness and the drive to build relationships in
a global context. You are a humble team player with cultural flair and a well-developed curiosity about other people and their motivations.

  • Desire to teach or work within a talent, learning and development environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and win the confidence of stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to initiate and work productively alone, but also effective as a team member.
  • Experience, or willing to acquire, working with LMS and other systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced high growth international environment
