HR Services Manager - APAC

Job summary:

Reporting to the Global HR Operations Lead, the HR Services Manager APAC is accountable for managing the delivery of efficient HR services to the business across this region. To do so, you will manage a regional team of HR Specialists, and ensure a seamless execution of a broad range of HR processes covering the full employee life-cycle. In addition, you will contribute to the creation and/or improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures to ensure full compliance with local labor legislation in the countries in which we operate.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the execution of all day to day HR Services across the APAC region (India, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, China, Hong Kong)
  • Partner with Global COE team and HR Business Partners to ensure global HR programs are implemented in each country in line with regional characteristics
  • Be the point of escalation for complex topics that the local teams cannot solve
  • Provide guidance to the HR team and to the organisation on a broad range of HR topics such as hiring, onboarding and off-boarding, benefits implementation and administration, terminations, policies, processes and procedures, labor legislation matters, employee relations, disciplinary issues, etc.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Global Employment Counsel in disciplinary or dismissal cases
  • Identify efficiency gaps in the implementation of our HR processes and procedures, and address these to achieve a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to the establishment of global service level agreements (SLAs) for the delivery of our key HR processes, and ensure they correct implementation within the APAC region
  • Ensure all our company policies are understood and applied consistently by managers and employees, as well as by the HR team
  • Ensure we are legally compliant from a labor law perspective in all countries in which we operate
  • Oversee the implementation and administration of benefits within the region and make recommendations for enhancements in line with local standards
  • Implement efficient and compliant global mobility practices, including visa management and relocation processes
  • Supervise all regional HR administration and payroll
  • Propose new initiatives to enhance our regional HR services
  • Supervise a regional team of HR Specialists, with a strong focus on team development, coaching, and nurturing our fantastic team spirit
  • Play a key role in influencing employee engagement and retention, building team morale and living our culture in the APAC offices



  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, HR or similar
  • 5-10 years of relevant HR experience managing HR Services, Administration and Operations across multiple locations within the APAC covering a broad range of employee lifecycle matters from onboarding to off-boarding and everything in-between
  • Good people management skills with experience managing, coaching, developing and engaging a small team of HR specialists located across several countries
  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes and procedures, with a drive for efficiency and a service mindset
  • Excellent organisational and prioritization skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong Excel skills and MS/Google Suite apps
  • Accuracy, precision in work, and strong attention to details
  • Highly results-focused; strong drive, initiative, and sense of urgency
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced multicultural environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient English
