Job summary:

Reporting to the Global HR Operations Lead, the HR Services Manager EU is accountable for managing the delivery of efficient HR services to the business across the European region. To do so, you will manage a regional team of HR Specialists, and ensure a seamless execution of a broad range of HR processes covering the full employee life-cycle. In addition, you will contribute to the creation and/or improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures to ensure full compliance with local labor legislation in the countries in which we operate. This a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional wanting to take the next step in their career to manage and lead a team.


 Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the execution of the day to day HR Services in Benelux and oversee its execution within the DACH, UK and Nordics regions.).
  • Partner with Global COE team and HR Business Partners to ensure global HR programs are implemented by considering regional characteristics.
  • Supervise a regional team of HR Specialists, with a strong focus on team development, coaching, and nurturing our fantastic team spirit
  • Be the point of escalation for complex topics that the local teams cannot solve.
  • Provide guidance to the HR team and to the organisation on a broad range of HR topics such as hiring, onboarding and off boarding, benefits implementation and administration, terminations, policies, processes and procedures, labor legislation matters, employee relations, disciplinary issues, etc. 
  • Identify efficiency gaps in the implementation of our HR processes and procedures, and address these to achieve a high level of efficiency and productivity. 
  • Participate in establishing service level agreements (SLAs) for the delivery of our key HR processes 
  • Ensure all our company policies are understood and applied consistently by managers and employees, as well as by the HR team 
  • Ensure we are legally compliant from a labor law perspective in all countries in which we operate 
  • Oversee the implementation of benefits within the region and make recommendations for enhancements in line with local standards 
  • Implement efficient and compliant global mobility practices, including visa management and relocation processes 
  • Supervise all regional HR administration and payroll 
  • Propose new initiatives to enhance our regional HR services 

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, HR or similar 
  • 3 years plus of relevant HR experience managing HR Operations across multiple EU locations covering a broad range of employee lifecycle matters from onboarding to off boarding and everything in-between 
  • Specific knowledge and expertise in Dutch labor legislation, with additional knowledge and expertise of one or more of the following countries: France, Switzerland, Germany, UK and/or Sweden 
  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes and procedures, with a drive for efficiency and a service mindset 
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 
  • Strong Excel skills and MS/Google Suite apps 
  • Accuracy, precision in work, and strong attention to details 
  • Highly results-focused; strong drive, initiative, and sense of urgency 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced multicultural environment 
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proficient English and Dutch

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of German and French languages with knowledge of employment law in these countries 
  • HRIS implementation experience
  • Experience managing, coaching, developing and engaging a small team of HR specialists located across several EU countries
