Job summary:

The Senior Manager – International Accounting provides strategic leadership and direction to the international finance team. Reporting to the Head of Global Accounting, Central Functions, you will identify and drive best practices in a variety of areas such as accounting, financial planning, management reporting, treasury, tax, risk management, and financial performance management, in order to achieve optimised business decisions. As a people manager and functional leader, you will be responsible and accountable for building, guiding and developing a strong international finance team that is able to successfully tackle the evolving challenges of a rapidly growing organisation.  


Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Oversee UK company accounts and financial management thereof 
  • Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables of all financial operations internationally 
  • Review to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported 
  • Support month-end and year-end close process 
  • Ensure tax and transfer pricing compliance through tracking of tax filing and payments completed on a global scale across the group. 
  • Manage weekly cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal data and reports 
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls 
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations 
  • Promote and drive a spirit of continuous improvement across finance 
  • Motivate and lead finance team members

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or ACCA equivalent 
  • 4 – 6 years professional experience in Finance and Controlling, and Team Management (experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm is a plus)
  • IFRS proficient 
  • Exposure to international tax and transfer pricing 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • High-energy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
