Job summary:
In this exciting position, we are looking for someone who will be part of the head office and will take care of the accounting for 9 companies. You are in constant contact with the subledger staff, the human resources department and project staff worldwide.
Furthermore, you will assist in analysing and evaluating the performance of the different product and business lines within the company.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Handle general ledger tasks for Swiss entities independently
- Bookkeeping reconciliation of accounts verification of financial data
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
- Reconciliation of social security insurances
- Providing Swiss VAT settlement tax declaration for the Swiss entities
- Additional responsibilities as identified
- Contributor in producing monthly management reports
- Assist the group budget and strategy process
- Identify and drive initiatives to further leverage financial systems, streamline process flows and create systematic methods for efficient data processing and reporting.
Requirements:
Essential -
- Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management, Federal Diploma of Higher Education or undergoing training
- At least 3 years' relevant work experience
- Excellent spreadsheet skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Very good conceptual and process design skills
- High-energy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in German and English (First Level)
